Billiard Centre of Shun Lee Tsuen Sports Centre opened (with photo)

     The Billiard Centre of Shun Lee Tsuen Sports Centre, which is under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), opened to the public today (January 28). The centre will help promote billiard sports by providing a variety of billiard facilities for public use and for organisations and schools to hold training sessions.

     The Billiard Centre covers an area of 340 square metres with four American pool tables, four billiard tables and a carom table. It is the first LCSD sports centre equipped with billiard and carom tables and is the largest in scale among those provided by the department.

     Besides the Billiard Centre, Shun Lee Tsuen Sports Centre provides a number of recreation and sports facilities, including a multi-purpose arena which can be used as two basketball courts or eight badminton courts, a gymnastics training hall, a fitness room, a dance room, a table tennis room, squash courts, an indoor golf driving range, an outdoor sports climbing wall and a children's play room. The sports centre opens from 7am to 11pm daily. The public may reserve the facilities through the Leisure Link service counter, telephone or internet booking services.
