The Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, will leave for Nanning, Guangxi, this afternoon (January 27) to promote Hong Kong brands and products to the people of Nanning and the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and to enhance trade, economic exchanges and co-operation among Hong Kong, Guangxi and ASEAN countries.
Mr So will officiate at the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Trendy Products Expo and will tour the exhibition tomorrow (January 28) morning.
The Hong Kong Trendy Products Expo, organised by the Guangxi International Expositions Bureau, Nanning Municipal People's Government and Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, will be held between January 28 and February 2 in Nanning, Guangxi.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon.
