Police today (January 21) appealed for information on a body found off Lamma Island on January 7.
About 1.12pm on January 7, police received a report that the body of a man was floating near Tung O Wan, Lamma Island.
The deceased, aged between 30 and 50, was about 1.55 metres tall, of medium build. He had a round face, dark complexion and short hair. He was wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt, green jacket, grey vest and blue rubber overalls. No identity document was found on him. Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Police urged anyone who knows the deceased or who has any information about the case to contact the officers of Administration Support Sub-unit of Cheung Chau Police Station at 2986 0231 or 2986 0200, or inform any police station.
