Man charged for corrosive fluid attack in Causeway Bay

Police today (January 14) charged a 23-year-old man with one count of throwing corrosive fluid with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
The 23-year-old man was arrested in Yuen Long yesterday (January 13). He was suspected to be in connection with a case in which a bottle containing suspected corrosive fluid was thrown from a building in Causeway Bay on December 12 last year.
The man will appear in the Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow morning (January 15).
