The Fire Services Department will organise a series of roving exhibitions to enhance public awareness of fire safety during the coming festive season.
The exhibitions will be held throughout Hong Kong, with the first at Siu Sai Wan Road near Island Resort Shopping Arcade in Chai Wan, Hong Kong, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm tomorrow (January 13).
Another two exhibitions will be held at Fuk Wah Street near Golden Building in Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, on January 25 (Monday) and at Hing Ning Road near Kwai Chung Plaza in Kwai Fong, the New Territories, on January 29 (Friday).
The Mobile Publicity Unit will house all the exhibits, aided by computerised multi-media facilities. On board will be touch-screen computers loaded with information on fire safety, previous major fires and the department's appliances and equipment.
Fire service installations such as hose reels, fire detection, automatic fire alarm systems and different types of portable fire extinguishers will also be on display.
Fire Services personnel will be on site to answer enquiries about fire safety.
