Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai yesterday (December 31) night in which a 61-year-old man was killed.
About 10.40pm, a Light Rail driven by a 29-year-old man was travelling from Yuen Long to Tin Shui Wai. When approaching Hang Mei Tsuen Station, the train reportedly knocked down the 61-year-old man.
The man sustained serious injuries and was certified dead at scene by ambulanceman.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
