A new round of the Arts Corner will be launched at Hong Kong Park tomorrow (January 1) and people are welcome to visit for free.
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Arts Corner will operate from 12pm to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It aims to make the park more appealing to park-goers and create a relaxed atmosphere for art appreciation.
The 10th phase of the Arts Corner at Hong Kong Park will be run from tomorrow to December 31, 2010. There will be 10 stalls setting up at the outdoor area near the Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware for selling handicrafts and artworks such as paper craftwork, carving work, accessories and stone paintings. Services to be provided by arts service stalls include painting, calligraphy, silhouette cutting and sketching/caricature.
A similar event, Arts Fun Fair, is being held at Kowloon Park. It will be run until May 30, 2010, on Sundays and public holidays from 1pm to 7pm.
