The Chief Executive has appointed Mr William Leung Wing-cheung to replace Professor Leung Nai-kong as Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts for a period of two years from tomorrow (January 1).
The Chief Executive has also appointed Mr Fredric Mao Chun-fai as deputy chairman of the council, Mr Charles Chow Chan-lum as treasurer and the following people as members for the same period of two years from January 1:

The Secretary for Home Affairs thanked Professor Leung Nai-kong and the outgoing members for their contribution to the council.
The appointments were published in the Government Gazette today (December 31).
