The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says today (December 28) that the outdoor heated pool at the Tuen Mun Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of faeces in the pool.
As the outdoor heated pool is the only pool open at the Tuen Mun Swimming Pool, the venue is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 6.30am tomorrow (December 29).
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
