Services provided by Mobile Library 6 and 10 would be suspended at different periods in January for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (December 28).
Service points of Mobile Library 10 to be affected from January 4 to 9 are Lung Mun Oasis in Tuen Mun; Tin Yuet Estate and Tin Wah Estate in Tin Shui Wai; Kwai Chung Estate in Kwai Tsing; Wah Sum Estate in Fanling and Shuen Wan in Tai Po. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 10, please call 2450 1857.
Service points of Mobile Library 6 to be affected from January 11 to 16 are Shau Kei Wan Main Street East; Lei Tung Estate and Ap Lei Chau Estate in Ap Lei Chau; Shek O Beach and Fung Tak Estate in Wong Tai Sin. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 6, please call 2505 4690.
The service point of Mobile Library 2 at Sun Chui Estate in Sha Tin will temporarily be suspended because of excavation work. The service is tentatively scheduled to resume at 10am on March 10. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 2, please call 2605 1071.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet on www.hkpl.gov.hk .
