Get on "The Ark" to save the earth
**********************************

Hong Kong audiences will be invited in February by L' Arsenal ˆj Musique from Canada to get on "The Ark" and protect and rescue this dying planet.

Multi-media theatre "The Ark" takes a critical look at the delicate balance between man and nature. Acrobats, a musician and a host of breathtaking images will deliver a message of hope and use live music, projections and circus arts to celebrate life.

L' Arsenal ˆj Musique was founded by Lorena Corradi and Reggi Ettore in 1978. It introduces concert music to a broad audience, especially young people, through bold and innovative interventions and concerts. From the classical to the experimental, the group provides a platform for merging the possibilities where artistic productions are revitalised through the coming together of disciplines and talents. With the ingenious and creative combination of animation, theatre and the circus arts, classical and contemporary music and new technology, their high-quality performances draw audiences into a magical and ethereal world.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "The Ark" will be staged at 8pm on February 4 and 5 (Thursday and Friday) at Theatre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. Tickets priced at $180 and $140 are now available at URBTIX outlets. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients (limited tickets for students and CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis).
