Man charged with murder

Police today (December 16) charged a 58-year-old man with one count of murder.
The 58-year-old man surrendered to Castle Peak Police Station about 11.15pm on Monday (December 14), and reported that it was in connection with the death of his wife at their residence at Wu Fai House, Wu King Estate. Police officers arrived the scene and located the body of the 39-year-old woman inside the kitchen.
A post-mortem conducted yesterday (December 15) revealed that the woman died of head and neck injuries.
The 58-year-old man will appear at Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (December 17).
