Police today (December 10) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Aberdeen on December 1 in which a 4-year-old boy was killed.
About 4.40pm on December 1, a private light bus driven by a 58-year-old man was traveling along Yue Fai Road. When approaching the junction with Old Main Street Aberdeen, the private light bus is believed to have hit the boy who ran onto the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, the boy was taken to the Queen Mary Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.05am on December 2.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island, are proceeding.
Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3106 8800 or 2527 7177 or any police stations.
