In response to media enquiries, 2009 East Asian Games (Hong Kong) Ltd gave the following information today (December 9):
An athlete in the Hong Kong football team suffered from an intestinal disorder and sought medical treatment on December 7. He did not have any symptom of influenza. He has recovered and joined training today.
