No.3 alarm fire in Tuen Mun roundup

     A fire broke out at the Castle Peak Power Station, Tuen Mun at 11.04pm yesterday (December 7).  A coal unloader at the jetty of the Station was alight. The fire was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 11.38pm and was under control at 1.10am today (December 8).  The fire was put out at 1.44am.

     Firemen used eight jets and mobilised five breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. No casualty was reported.

     No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
