Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Happy Valley this afternoon (December 6) in which an 83-year-old woman was killed.
About 3.40pm, the 83-year-old woman was reportedly hit by a bus outside No. 25, Moreton Terrace, and was dragged for some distance. The bus left the scene afterwards.
The woman sustained serious head and leg injuries and was conveyed to Ruttonjee Hospital. She was later certified dead at 4.01pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are under way.
