**********************************************************

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer will mount a roving exhibition tomorrow (November 25) to promote the information and services that GovHK (www.gov.hk), the one-stop government portal, is offering to users from the business and trade sector. The exhibition will first be held at MTR Mong Kok Station until November 27.

The exhibition will introduce information such as support for local and foreign enterprises, market statistics and the tax system. There will be panels highlighting three business services available at the portal, namely business registration, the e-procurement pilot programme and the business consultation e-platform. Visitors can also view introductory video clips and make use of the Internet kiosks to learn more about the portal.

Details of the remaining exhibitions are as follows:

Revenue Tower, Wan Chai (December 9 to 11, 2009)
MTR Kwun Tong Station (December 17 to 19, 2009)
MTR Tai Koo Station (January 4 to 6, 2010)
MTR Hong Kong Station (January 14 to 16, 2010)
Tsuen Wan Government Offices (February 3 to 5, 2010)

Launched in 2007, GovHK provides a one-stop portal where the public can easily access frequently sought online government information and services. It is currently serving four user groups, namely: "Residents", "Business & Trade", "Non-Residents" and "Youth". Since its launch, the portal has enhanced its design and functions.
