Police are offering a $300,000 reward for information that helps solve three cases in Sham Shui Po in June and October this year in which bottles containing hydrochloric acid was thrown from buildings.
About 6pm on June 15, 3.40pm on October 24 and 10.50am on October 30, police received reports that beer bottles had been thrown from the buildings at or near alley of 4 Fuk Wa Street, 71-73 Fuk Wing Street and 185 Apliu Street respectively.
The bottles blasted with hydrochloric acid splashed when landing on the ground. No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
Police have classified the cases as ¡§object dropped from building¡¨. The cases are still under active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po.
Police appeal to anyone who has information on the cases to contact any police station or the investigating officers on 2746 3457 or 6148 1441.
They can also give the information by letter to General Post Office Box No.999, by fax at 2520 2828 or by email to crimeinformation@police.gov.hk.
The reward will be paid either in full or pro-rata to any person or shared among people giving information leading to the arrest and satisfactory prosecution of those responsible for the attack. The reward is valid for six months.
