Red flags lowered at Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay First Beach

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 13) that since the waters off Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay First Beach in Sai Kung District are now suitable for swimming, the red flags have been lowered.
The red flags were hoisted at these beaches after red tides were found.
The department reminds the public that the lifeguard service at Clear Water Bay First Beach is suspended in winter.
