Police appeal for witnesses to fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui

     Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui on November 9 in which a 54-year-old man died.

     About 10.14am on November 9, a coach driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling southbound on Chatham Road South. After passing the junction with Cameron Road, the coach reportedly hit the 54-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     The 54-year-old man sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 4.15pm on the same day.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are continuing.

     Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.
