| A briefing to update the media on the preparations for the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games (EAG) was held today (November 9). Present at the briefing were the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Mrs Carrie Yau (centre); the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mrs Betty Fung (second right); the Chief Executive Officer of 2009 East Asian Games (Hong Kong) Limited, Mr Johnny Woo (second left), the Chief Superintendent of Police Public Relations Branch, Mr David Ng (right), and the Principal Transport Officer of the Transport Department, Mr Albert Su. Mrs Yau told the media that all preparation work was progressing smoothly and satisfactorily.
