Government House open to the public on November 15
**************************************************

Government House will be open to the public next Sunday (November 15) from 10am to 5pm. Visitors can view the blossoming flowers in the garden and visit the Drawing Room and Dining Room where the Chief Executive holds important official functions and receives dignitaries.

"Government House is open to the public twice a year. The previous open day on March 15 this year was well received by the public, with more than 13,000 visitors," a government spokesman said.

Visitors should make full use of public transport. They are requested to enter Government House through the east gate at Upper Albert Road and leave through the main gate. Depending on the length of the queue, the Police may announce a cut-off time for lining up outside Government House to ensure that those in the queue can be admitted in time.
