Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsing Yi this morning (November 2) in which a 54-year-old man died.
A medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 54-year-old man was travelling along Container Port Road South towards Kwai Chung about 8.10am. Near Container Terminal No 6, the driver is believed to have collapsed and the MGV subsequently rammed into roadside railings and railings at the terminal entrance.
The driver was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was later certified dead at 9.10am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are under way.
