The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says the outdoor heated main pool at the Sha Tin Jockey Club Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus in the pool.
As the outdoor heated main pool is the only pool open at the Sha Tin Jockey Club Swimming Pool, the venue is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 9pm today (November 1).
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
