The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) today (October 23) reminded the public that auctions of stalls for the coming Lunar New Year (LNY) fairs in Victoria Park and Kowloon would start next Wednesday (October 28).
For the Victoria Park Fair, there will be 180 wet goods stalls, 284 dry goods stalls, eight thematic stalls and three fast food stalls available for bidding. In the four fairs at Fa Hui Park, Cheung Sha Wan Playground, Morse Park and Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground in Kowloon, there will be a total of 322 wet goods stalls, 240 dry goods stalls and eight fast food stalls.
All the auctions will be held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai. The auction sessions are scheduled from 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.45pm.

A bidder for the LNY fair stalls must be at least 18 years old and ordinarily resident in Hong Kong.
Anyone can bid for more than one stall. A successful bidder must pay the bid price of the stall immediately after the auction or will forfeit their right to the stall, and the stall concerned will be re-auctioned immediately.
