Police appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Kowloon City

     Police today (October 22) appealed for information about a serious traffic accident in Kowloon City in October in which a 77-year-old male pedestrian was injured.

     About 4.40pm on October 4, a public light bus driven by a 70-year-old man was travelling along Tim Fuk Road towards Norfolk Road. When making a right turn into the entrance of a bus terminus, it reportedly knocked down the 77-year-old man.
 
     The man sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in an unconscious state.

     Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are underway.

     Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2773 5253 or 2773 5261.
