Learn more about home gardening through free exhibition at Kowloon Park (with photos)
***********************************************************

To arouse public interest in horticulture and to enhance awareness of greening, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will organise a horticulture education exhibition to promote home gardening on October 31 (Saturday) and November 1 (Sunday) from 10am to 4pm at the Arcade of Kowloon Park. Admission is free.

Descriptive display panels will enable members of the public to learn more about the selection of plants, plant propagation methods, and factors affecting plant growth. They will also introduce planting and plant maintenance on balconies, rooftops and gardens; environmentally friendly planting by composting; and control of pests and diseases.

Fringe activities including games stalls and eco-friendly workshops will be held during the exhibition at the Kowloon Park Arcade. Visitors can also share the fun of pot planting under the guidance of horticulture instructors.
