Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate a running event to be held in Siu Sai Wan on October 1 (Thursday).
A. Road Closure
The following road will be closed from 6.30am to noon:
1. Fu Hong Street;
2. A section of eastbound Siu Sai Wan Road between Harmony Road and Sun Yip Street;
3. A section of Sun Yip Street between Ka Yip Street and Siu Sai Wan Road;
4. Fung Yip Street rear lane;
5. Sun On Street;
6. Both bounds of Fung Yip Street between On Yip Street and Sun Yip Street;
7. A section of northbound Fung Yip Street between Sheung On Street and On Yip Street;
8. A section of eastbound Sheung On Street between Ka Yip Street and Fung Yip Street; and
9. A section of eastbound On Yip Street between Fung Yip Street and Sun Yip Street.
The following road will be closed from 7am to 11am:
1. A section of Cape Collinson Road between Lin Shing Road and the entrance of Cape Collinson Chinese Permanent Cemetery.
B. Temporary suspension of bus stops
All bus stops along the closed roads will be temporarily suspended from 6.30am to noon.
B. Suspension of parking spaces
All metered parking spaces and/or motorcycle parking spaces at the following locations will be suspended from 8pm on September 30 to noon on October 1:
1. Sun Yip Street;
2. Fung Yip Street;
3. On Yip Street; and
4. Sun On Street.
C. Suspension of carparks
All car parks along the closed roads will be temporarily suspended from 6.30am to noon.
Any vehicles found illegally parked along the closed road may be towed away without advance notice.
Motorists are advised to take heed of traffic signs and follow instructions of traffic police at the scene.
