The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (September 18) on proposed amendments to the works of retrofitting noise barriers on Tai Po Tai Wo Road.
The proposed amendments include deletion of the proposed semi-enclosure along the eastbound carriageway of Tai Po Tai Wo Road near Blocks Nos 3 to 8 of Serenity Park I and the associated ancillary works such as drainage, slope and landscaping works; revision of the proposed temporary closure and reinstatement on some sections of the existing carriageways, footpaths and cycle tracks; and revision of the proposed limit of works area.
The amendment plan and the amendment scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
(i) Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, The Center, 99 Queen¡¦s Road Central;
(ii) Tai Po District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, G/F., Tai Po Government Offices, 1 Ting Kok Road, Tai Po; and
(iii) District Lands Office, Tai Po, 1st Floor, Tai Po Government Offices, 1 Ting Kok Road, Tai Po.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16th floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, by November 17.
