The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today (September 16) published the September 2009 issue of its Quarterly Bulletin.
This Quarterly Bulletin contains two feature articles:
* The CMU Fund Order Routing and Settlement Service – explaining the background to the new service launched in August 2009, its high-level business flow and benefits to market participants and Hong Kong as an international financial centre.
* Renminbi trade settlement pilot scheme – giving an overview of the pilot scheme for cross-border trade settlement in renminbi launched in July 2009 and the related arrangements in Hong Kong.
The Bulletin also carries a Supervisor's Memo on cross-border trade settlement in renminbi, and regular articles on the banking and monetary environment during the second quarter of 2009.
