Eight men charged with conspiracy to commit murder

Police today (September 11) charged eight men jointly with one count of conspiracy to commit murder and one man with one count of conspiracy to wound with intent.
They were among the 18 persons, aged between 19 and 48, arrested in connection with the death of a 41-year-old man who was attacked by three men armed with knives outside a hotel on Mody Road in Tsim Sha Tsui on August 4.
The nine men will appear in Eastern Magistratesˇ¦Courts tomorrow (September 12).
Meanwhile, the remaining nine arrestees comprising eight men and one woman have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
