Hongkong Post today (September 1) announced that in collaboration with China Post and Macau Post, new Mid-Autumn Festival gift sets would be available under the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfilment Service from Thursday (September 3) to September 23.
Hongkong Post and China Post teamed up to create the Hong Kong/Mainland Gift Fulfilment Service in January 2004, providing a convenient service for sending a range of gift sets to the Mainland including seasonal gift sets, bouquets, cakes and flower baskets.
Based on the popularity of this programme, the delivery locations have been extended to Macau for counter orders, and to United States/Canada for online orders this year. A total of 11 sets of mooncakes that are made in Hong Kong and the Mainland are offered, including traditional lotus seed paste mooncakes as well as Chiu Chow style vegetarian mooncakes. With customers¡¦ health and craving for variations in mind, another three sets of exclusive mooncakes freshly made in Japan are also available on Hongkong Post's internet shopping mall - ShopThruPost (www.shopthrupost.hk) while stock last.
Customers can now place orders for the mooncake gift sets to be sent to more than 2,000 cities on the Mainland, Macau, Hong Kong, United States and Canada. The gift sets are reasonably priced from HK$168 to $578, including delivery charges. The products will be delivered on or before the Mid-Autumn Festival - October 3 - for orders which are placed by September 23. The completed order forms can be returned in person at any post office, or by fax or post. Customers may also purchase these gift sets via the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall ¡V "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk).
