The URBTIX online booking (www.urbtix.hk) and telephone credit card booking hotline 2111 5999 services would be enhanced from Tuesday (September 1), a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (August 29).
The URBTIX internet and telephone credit card booking services will be available from the first counter sale day until one hour before the performance. The enhanced services will provide more convenient ticketing service to the public, as currently both services are only available until seven days before performing day.
Under the new arrangement, tickets booked more than seven days before performance on URBTIX Internet or telephone credit card booking services will still be delivered to customers by mail. Tickets booked within seven days of performance on both services can be collected by customer at any of the 36 URBTIX outlets upon presentation of the credit card used for booking. Customers will be informed of the counter collection arrangement either by reminders on display on the website www.urbtix.hk or by 2111 5999 hotline operator.
The enhanced services are not applicable to Omnimax shows, sky shows and permanent exhibitions held at the Hong Kong Space Museum.
The URBTIX ticketing services are available at www.urbtix.hk and 36 outlets. Telephone credit card booking on 2111 5999 and reservations on 2734 9009 can be made from 10am to 8pm daily.
