The Town Planning Board today (August 28) announced amendments to the approved Lung Yeuk Tau and Kwan Tei South Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve rezoning of a site at Ma Liu Shui San Tsuen from ¡§Village Type Development¡¨ (¡§V¡¨) and ¡§Residential (Group C)¡¨ (¡§R(C)¡¨) to ¡§Government, Institution or Community(1)¡¨ (¡§G/IC(1)¡¨) zone to reflect the existing use of a religious institution (chapel) and to facilitate its proposed extension.
Another area in Ma Liu Shui San Tsuen near Lung Ma Road is also rezoned from ¡§Agriculture¡¨ to ¡§R(C)¡¨ and ¡§V¡¨ to facilitate a proposed residential development and to cater for future small house demand. Moreover, a set of Notes for the new ¡§G/IC(1)¡¨zone, with plot ratio and building height restrictions stipulated, has also been incorporated.
The draft Lung Yeuk Tau and Kwan Tei South OZP No. S/NE-LYT/13, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sha Tin, Tai Po and North District Planning Office, the North District Office and the Fanling District Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representations in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before October 28. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Lung Yeuk Tau and Kwan Tei South OZP No. S/NE-LYT/13 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
