Following is the transcript of remarks (English portion) by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, at a media session after his visit to Tai Po this afternoon (July 14):
Reporter: Are you disappointed that so far Tai Po is the one and only district doing drug testing..?
Chief Executive: I am very encouraged by the efforts made by Tai Po. They are the leading light in this regard, combining community forces – the doctors, the social workers, the headmasters – and most of all their own sports club, their own football team. All of them are participating actively in this. I think they are going to produce a very interesting result and probably a model for other districts to study. I personally come over here humbly, learning from the experience and it has already given me a lot of stimulus.
