Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
Due to big waves/inclement weather, red flags have been hoisted at Deep Water Bay Beach, Repulse Bay Beach, Middle Bay Beach, South Bay Beach, Chung Hom Kok Beach, St Stephen's Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Hung Shing Yeh Beach, Lo So Shing Beach, Silver Mine Bay Beach, Pui O Beach and Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District; Kiu Tsui Beach in Sai Kung District and Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach in Tsuen Wan District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
