****************************************************

The Hong Kong travellers who were quarantined in Beijing after a passenger on their flight was suspected of getting Influenza A H1N1 were released today (July 5). Staff members of the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (Beijing Office) visited and offered assistance to them this morning.

Since the Hong Kong travellers were quarantined, the Beijing Office staff members visited them every day to understand and attend to their needs. The Beijing Office also kept in touch with the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, other related mainland authorities, and the hotel, to render assistance as far as possible, including improving the hygiene condition, meals and air-conditioning, as well as attending to the medical and other needs of individuals.
