The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Nanning, Guangxi, next Tuesday (June 9) to attend the ¡§Fifth Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Co-operation and Development Forum and Trade Fair¡¨ (PPRD Forum).
Mr Tsang will attend the opening ceremony and cultural show upon arrival. He will address the High-Level Forum the following day (June 10). On June 11, he will attend a joint conference with the leaders of the governments of the nine PPRD provinces and the Macao Special Administrative Region.
Accompanying Mr Tsang on the visit will be the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam; the Private Secretary to Chief Executive, Mr Kenneth Mak; the Information Co-ordinator, Mr Andy Ho; and the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping.
The Chief Executive will return to Hong Kong in the evening of June 11. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the acting Chief Executive.
