Fatal fire in Ngau Tau Kok

An 76-year-old man died in a No.1 alarm fire which broke out this morning (May 7) in Ngau Tau Kok.
The fire broke out at a domestic unit on 38th floor, Ying Hong House, Choi Ying Estate, at about 5.37am.
The fire was out before firemen arrived.
Firemen found an unconscious man at the scene. The man was then rushed to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.23am.
No suspicious circumstances were detected as to the cause of the fire.
