The Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, will leave tomorrow (May 7) for a visit to Wuhan, Hubei, to gain first-hand knowledge of Hong Kong enterprises' development on the Mainland.
On Friday (May 8), Mr So will address the "Style Hong Kong Show in Wuhan" organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the People's Municipal Government of Wuhan. The event is the first large-scale trade promotion and consumer fair jointly held in the city by Hong Kong and Wuhan.
He will also visit some retail outlets in Wuhan to seek an update on the Mainland's domestic market and opportunities for Hong Kong enterprises, tour a construction project invested by a Hong Kong company and visit a Wuhan company listed in Hong Kong.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong on Friday night.
