Rental freeze for public market stalls further extended

The Government has decided to further extend the rental freeze for all public market stalls managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) for one year to the end of June 2010.
The rentals of the public market stalls were reduced by 30% in 1998 and had been frozen since then. The last rental freeze was announced by the Government in April 2008, for an extension until the end of June this year.
