Hospital Authority Convention will be cancelled

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesman today (May 2) announced that upon the confirmation of a local human case of swine influenza by the Centre for Health Protection, the HA had activated Emergency Response Level in public hospitals. As staff has to focus on the work associated with the control of Human Swine Flu, the Hospital Authority Convention scheduled on May 4 and 5 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will be cancelled.
