The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Eva Cheng, today (April 15) arrived in Beijing for a three-day visit (April 15 to 17) to discuss with Mainland officials the latest situation in cross-boundary transport infrastructure, maritime development and aviation matters.
Ms Cheng will meet officials of the National Development and Reform Commission,the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Transport. She will also visit Beijing South Railway Station and ride the Beijing-Tianjin high-speed rail link.
Accompanying Ms Cheng to Beijing are the Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport), Mr Philip Yung, and the Deputy Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport), Miss Janice Tse.
