Thailand-bound Hong Kong travellers should watch local situation
*******************************************************

A Government spokesman today (April 8) again reminded Hong Kong residents who plan to visit Thailand should pay close attention to the situation there and confirm their flight and transport arrangements before their trip.

During their stay in Thailand, they should also exercise caution, take note of any change of situation and avoid places of protests and large gatherings of people.

Residents who need assistance while outside Hong Kong may call the 24-hour hotline of the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit of the Immigration Department at (852) 1868.
