No. 3 Alarm Fire at West Kowloon refuse transfer station roundup

Two wet scrubbers and a quantity of miscellaneous articles inside West Kowloon refuse transfer station were severely damaged in a No. 3 alarm fire at 1 Ngong Shung Road in Ngong Shuen Chau today (April 3).
The fire broke out at 11.39am today and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 12.09pm. The fire was put out at 1.20pm. Firemen used three jets and six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
No casualty was reported and no suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
