HAB and LCSD respond to Coroner's verdict

The Coroner's Court today (March 30) returned the verdict on the death of Miss Chong Chung-yin during the collapse of a branch of a coral tree in Stanley in August last year. The Home Affairs Bureau and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department attached great importance to the verdict and would seriously consider the jury's recommendations in detail.
The Acting Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Florence Hui, and the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mr Thomas Chow, expressed great sorrow over the accident which caused the death of Miss Chong and offered again their deepest condolences to her family.
