Hongkong Post announced today (March 20) that the Tai Koo Shing Post Office located at Shop No. G1020-1022, Kam Shing Mansion, 1-3 Tai Fung Avenue, Tai Koo Shing, will be temporarily closed from March 30 (Monday) until June 2009 for major renovations. The post office will be reopened when the renovation works are completed. The date of resumption of service will be announced in due course.
During the closure period, local residents will be served by a temporary post office stationed at the Piazza Verde outside the Tai Koo Shing Post Office.
The Tai Koo Shing Post Office has been in operation in the present premises since 1994. It is necessary to improve the general condition of the office in order to provide better services to customers.
Hongkong Post regrets the inconvenience that might be caused to customers by the renovation works and appreciates understanding and co-operation from those affected. For further information about the renovation works, customers may call the Counter Services Customer Care Hotline at 2525 5856.
