The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
The Hospital Authority (HA) has been arranging replacement drugs for patients taking Allopurinol 100mg since March 8 (Sunday). The spokesman for the HA announced that at 7pm today (March 18), replacement drugs had been arranged for a total of 19,691 patients. The arrangement was smooth and orderly.
