Police appealed for information about a fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun this morning (Saturday) that killed a 22-year-old man.
Police received a report at about 1.40 am that a man was found wandering along Tuen Mun Road toward the new territories.
Police later located the man lying unconscious on the inner lane of Tuen Mun Road near Siu Lam. Ambulance man certified him dead at scene.
Police also received a report from a taxi driver that he suspected he had run over a man when was driving along Tuen Mun Road.
The taxi returned to the scene and the driver was now assisting police investigation.
Police appeal to the public who might have witnessed the accident is urged to contact the investigation officers on 3661 1330 or 3661 1346.
The Special Investigation Team for Traffic, New Territories South is looking into the case.
