The following is issued on behalf of the Committee on Review of Post-service Outside Work for Directorate Civil Servants:
The Committee on Review of Post-service Outside Work for Directorate Civil Servants is seeking views from the community and stakeholders on the control regime governing post-service outside work for directorate civil servants through a series of public forums to be held in different regions on March 9, 17 and 28.
Details of the public forums are as follows:
First Public Forum (Hong Kong Island)

Date: March 9 (Monday)
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Venue: Auditorium, 1st Floor, Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai.
Second Public Forum (Kowloon)

Date: March 17 (Tuesday)
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Venue: Mong Kok Community Hall, Level 2, Mong Kok Complex, 557 Shanghai Street, Mong Kok.
Third Public Forum (New Territories)
-----------------------------------
Date: March 28 (Saturday)
Time: 3pm – 5pm
Venue: Lai King Community Hall, 205 Lai King Hill Road, Kwai Chung.
The forums will be conducted in Cantonese. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Putonghua will be available for the first forum to be held on March 9.

The review committee appointed by the Chief Executive released a consultation document on February 20. The two-month consultation will end on April 20.
